Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.12% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 2.21% or 21.60 points to trade at 998.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 2.05% or 14.80 points to end at 737.90 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 0.87% or 1.25 points to 145.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 2.47% or 2.60 points to trade at 102.80 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) declined 2.33% or 45.00 points to end at 1,890.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 2.00% or 265.00 points to 12,955.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 63 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) rose to 5-year highs; up 2.21% or 21.60 to 998.20. Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.05% or 14.80 to 737.90.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.04% or 0.03 to $72.21 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.22% or 0.17 to hit $77.42 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 1.45 to trade at $2,031.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.25% to 6.80, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 102.17.
