Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.12% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which rose 3.90% or 24.6 points to trade at 655.2 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 3.78% or 7.8 points to end at 213.9 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 3.45% or 26.6 points to 798.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which fell 2.78% or 5.60 points to trade at 195.60 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) declined 1.66% or 4.9 points to end at 290.1 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was 0.00% or 0.0 points to 104.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 44 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) rose to 5-year highs; up 3.45% or 26.6 to 798.4.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.05% or 0.59 to $56.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.62% or 1.01 to hit $63.41 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.86% or 12.15 to trade at $1420.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.00% to 6.6141, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4627.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 96.317.
