Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.11%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 4.76% or 8.4 points to trade at 184.8 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 4.20% or 705 points to end at 17475 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 4.09% or 650 points to 16530 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which fell 1.22% or 6.1 points to trade at 494.7 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 0.24% or 2.5 points to end at 1056.5 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 0.14% or 1.2 points to 865.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 89 to 60 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.22% or 6.1 to 494.7.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.06% or 0.87 to $82.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.82% or 0.69 to hit $85.02 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 5.35 to trade at $1771.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.19% to 6.3951, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4407.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 93.727.
