Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 4.79% or 24.6 points to trade at 538.4 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) added 3.04% or 6.4 points to end at 217.0 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 2.23% or 6.4 points to 293.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which fell 0.99% or 6.2 points to trade at 619.0 at the close. Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) declined 0.41% or 0.7 points to end at 170.6 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was 0.00% or 0.00 points to 477.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 91 to 36 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.31% or 0.69 to $52.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.79% or 0.49 to hit $61.61 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 6.15 to trade at $1312.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.41% to 6.6185, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4634.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 96.847.
