Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 3.04% or 14.1 points to trade at 477.7 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 2.92% or 6.2 points to end at 218.3 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 2.84% or 10.70 points to 388.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 1.10% or 104 points to trade at 9370 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 0.61% or 55 points to end at 9035 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was down 0.16% or 0.4 points to 244.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 39 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.10% or 104 to 9370. Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) fell to 52-week lows; losing 0.61% or 55 to 9035. Shares in Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.84% or 10.70 to 388.00.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.19% or 0.73 to $60.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.85% or 0.55 to hit $63.79 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 6.20 to trade at $1321.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.74% to 6.0479, while EUR/DKK fell 0.05% to 7.4478.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.61% at 90.11.
