Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Real Estate, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.09%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 2.63% or 11.5 points to trade at 448.4 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 2.11% or 7.9 points to end at 381.9 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 1.96% or 5.6 points to 290.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which fell 3.50% or 275 points to trade at 7575 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 3.29% or 270 points to end at 7948 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 0.04% or 0.2 points to 515.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 42 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.50% or 275 to 7575. Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.29% or 270 to 7948.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.94% or 0.69 to $74.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.93% or 1.50 to hit $79.11 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 3.60 to trade at $1254.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.95% to 6.3808, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.76% at 94.28.
