Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.08% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 6.87% or 9.6 points to trade at 149.4 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 4.18% or 342 points to end at 8530 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 3.59% or 13.5 points to 390.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN), which fell 1.81% or 5.2 points to trade at 281.8 at the close. Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) declined 1.15% or 2.4 points to end at 205.4 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 0.43% or 1.5 points to 349.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 89 to 35 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) rose to all time highs; rising 3.59% or 13.5 to 390.0.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.49% or 0.74 to $50.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 2.16% or 1.15 to hit $54.42 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.60% or 9.55 to trade at $1569.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.09% to 6.8418, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4722.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 98.612.
