Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.07% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 3.45% or 4.50 points to trade at 134.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 2.88% or 85.0 points to end at 3040.0 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 2.69% or 23.6 points to 901.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 2.99% or 620 points to trade at 20100 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 2.59% or 510 points to end at 19200 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 0.86% or 1.6 points to 184.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 72 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) rose to 3-years highs; up 2.69% or 23.6 to 901.6.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.93% or 0.75 to $80.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.40% or 0.33 to hit $81.66 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.64% or 28.90 to trade at $1792.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.71% to 6.4493, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4374.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.63% at 94.448.
