Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 3.11% or 24.90 points to trade at 826.00 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 3.05% or 5.60 points to end at 189.10 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 1.67% or 50.00 points to 3,046.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 3.66% or 6.68 points to trade at 176.00 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 2.46% or 16.40 points to end at 650.40 and Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) was down 1.87% or 6.80 points to 356.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 67 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.99% or 1.77 to $87.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.52% or 1.46 to hit $94.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 5.00 to trade at $1,774.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.10% to 7.19, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 106.66.
