Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.04%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 10.98% or 59.6 points to trade at 602.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 4.02% or 4.1 points to end at 106.1 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was up 3.64% or 8.6 points to 244.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which fell 1.14% or 3.7 points to trade at 320.0 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 0.57% or 3.0 points to end at 527.8 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 0.56% or 2.1 points to 379.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 48 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.08% or 1.17 to $57.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.38% or 0.85 to hit $62.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.90% or 28.35 to trade at $1464.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.22% to 6.7655, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4734.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 98.000.
