Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 3.17% or 4.20 points to trade at 136.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) added 2.67% or 11.50 points to end at 442.70 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 2.33% or 24.50 points to 1,077.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 2.04% or 6.40 points to trade at 306.80 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) declined 0.77% or 22.00 points to end at 2,838.00 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 0.07% or 0.10 points to 153.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 101 to 42 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.67% or 11.50 to 442.70. Shares in Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) rose to 52-week highs; rising 0.07% or 0.10 to 153.70.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.32% or 0.26 to $80.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.43% or 0.37 to hit $85.44 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.90% or 21.15 to trade at $2,368.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.24% to 6.96, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 105.15.
