Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.02% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 4.42% or 12.0 points to trade at 283.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 2.77% or 16.00 points to end at 593.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 2.45% or 19.6 points to 818.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 2.40% or 2.3 points to trade at 95.1 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) declined 1.87% or 4.4 points to end at 230.6 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 1.76% or 154 points to 8602.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 61 to 61 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.64% or 0.91 to $54.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.35% or 1.45 to hit $60.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 6.05 to trade at $1496.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.07% to 6.7180, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4714.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 97.463.
