Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.02% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 5.15% or 14.8 points to trade at 302.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 4.27% or 12.3 points to end at 300.3 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 4.26% or 5.0 points to 121.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which fell 1.22% or 2.1 points to trade at 173.9 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO:NOVOb) declined 0.23% or 0.8 points to end at 347.6 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was down 0.04% or 0.20 points to 504.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 57 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.78% or 1.07 to $61.21 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.69% or 1.14 to hit $68.72 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 3.65 to trade at $1294.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.11% to 6.6617, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4654.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 96.850.
