Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.94% or 6.2 points to trade at 325.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 1.70% or 5.5 points to end at 329.2 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 1.57% or 19.5 points to 1260.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 0.02% or 0.01 points to trade at 49.60 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 0.13% or 0.30 points to end at 228.50 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 0.15% or 0.7 points to 482.9.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 43 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in TDC A/S (CO:TDC) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 0.02% or 0.01 to 49.60.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.68% or 0.43 to $63.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.57% or 0.38 to hit $67.42 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 2.00 to trade at $1332.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.02% to 6.0532, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4459.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 89.86.
