Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.00% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 2.75% or 8.60 points to trade at 321.40 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 2.67% or 3.95 points to end at 152.10 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 1.37% or 140.00 points to 10,350.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which fell 1.05% or 4.90 points to trade at 460.00 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 0.90% or 7.60 points to end at 841.00 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was down 0.54% or 0.65 points to 119.35.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 60 and 26 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.64% or 2.01 to $78.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.59% or 2.09 to hit $82.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 8.85 to trade at $1,975.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.26% to 6.81, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 103.39.
