Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.00%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 10.03% or 24.8 points to trade at 272.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 5.91% or 101.5 points to end at 1820.0 and Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) was up 5.23% or 33.5 points to 673.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 1.71% or 14.4 points to trade at 829.8 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 0.59% or 0.60 points to end at 101.35 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 0.16% or 0.7 points to 432.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 49 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) rose to all time highs; up 5.91% or 101.5 to 1820.0.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 4.71% or 1.13 to $25.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.25% or 0.67 to hit $30.39 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.94% or 32.75 to trade at $1721.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.18% to 6.8989, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4611.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 99.953.
