Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.99% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 8.30% or 30.9 points to trade at 403.1 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 4.63% or 435 points to end at 9830 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 4.36% or 433 points to 10365 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 0.96% or 6.6 points to trade at 683.0 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 0.45% or 1.1 points to end at 243.2 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was down 0.12% or 0.06 points to 50.14.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 48 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.71% or 1.92 to $68.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.17% or 1.65 to hit $74.52 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1314.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.30% to 6.2679, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4501.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 92.84.
