Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.97%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 3.93% or 21.2 points to trade at 560.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 3.86% or 44.5 points to end at 1198.5 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 3.72% or 9.0 points to 251.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which fell 0.57% or 5.0 points to trade at 875.0 at the close. DSV (CO:DSV) declined 0.50% or 3.0 points to end at 592.0 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) was down 0.48% or 1.0 points to 207.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 45 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.36% or 0.23 to $62.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.31% or 0.22 to hit $71.75 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 3.85 to trade at $1273.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.04% to 6.6913, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4691.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 97.882.
