Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 3.21% or 17.8 points to trade at 572.0 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 2.65% or 186 points to end at 7216 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was up 2.48% or 6.7 points to 277.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which fell 1.55% or 3.05 points to trade at 193.35 at the close. William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 0.82% or 1.9 points to end at 229.1 and FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) was down 0.43% or 1.2 points to 275.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 44 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) fell to 52-week lows; down 0.43% or 1.2 to 275.0.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.87% or 0.51 to $59.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.28% or 0.19 to hit $68.58 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 6.05 to trade at $1277.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.17% to 6.6834, while EUR/DKK fell 0.05% to 7.4660.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 97.787.
