Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.96% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 3.01% or 236 points to trade at 8072 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 2.74% or 205 points to end at 7685 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 2.37% or 8.9 points to 384.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which fell 0.18% or 0.40 points to trade at 222.60 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) declined 0.09% or 0.6 points to end at 661.6 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 0.12% or 0.4 points to 347.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 49 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.07% or 0.05 to $67.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.43% or 0.31 to hit $72.15 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.98% or 12.10 to trade at $1227.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.50% to 6.3954, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4543.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.51% at 94.75.
