Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.95%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 5.43% or 26.1 points to trade at 507.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.82% or 34.0 points to end at 1240.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.84% or 9.5 points to 526.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 1.17% or 7.0 points to trade at 592.5 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 0.47% or 1.30 points to end at 272.50 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 0.18% or 0.9 points to 495.7.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 50 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.43% or 1.35 to $56.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.75% or 1.71 to hit $63.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.04% or 13.22 to trade at $1282.42 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.01% to 6.4121, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4432.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 94.68.
