Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Chemicals and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.95% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 2.53% or 32.0 points to trade at 1297.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 2.26% or 12.5 points to end at 566.0 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 2.07% or 7.1 points to 349.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which fell 2.48% or 9.10 points to trade at 357.40 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 2.01% or 7.2 points to end at 351.9 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was down 1.84% or 4.5 points to 240.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 49 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.07% or 7.1 to 349.5.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.96% or 1.03 to $53.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.45% or 0.86 to hit $60.16 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.40 to trade at $1272.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.55% to 6.4233, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4409.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 94.92.
