Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.95%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.69% or 415.00 points to trade at 11,670.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 3.51% or 390.00 points to end at 11,500.00 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was up 1.75% or 23.00 points to 1,336.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA), which fell 3.12% or 6.15 points to trade at 190.80 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 2.95% or 5.45 points to end at 179.60 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 2.29% or 14.40 points to 614.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 60 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.28% or 0.92 to $72.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.00% or 0.76 to hit $77.02 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.75 to trade at $1,941.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.17% to 6.96, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 104.31.
