Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.95% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 6.24% or 54.60 points to trade at 930.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 5.40% or 24.7 points to end at 482.4 and DSV (CSE:DSV) was up 2.70% or 28.0 points to 1065.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which fell 3.37% or 23.8 points to trade at 682.0 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 2.15% or 1.80 points to end at 82.10 and William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 1.75% or 3.5 points to 196.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 55 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) rose to all time highs; rising 6.24% or 54.60 to 930.00. Shares in DSV (CSE:DSV) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.70% or 28.0 to 1065.5.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 4.95% or 1.99 to $38.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 4.35% or 1.84 to hit $40.46 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.97% or 18.30 to trade at $1913.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 6.3378, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4431.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 93.787.
