Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.94%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which rose 5.23% or 27.4 points to trade at 551.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) added 3.92% or 23.00 points to end at 610.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 3.25% or 24.8 points to 786.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 2.70% or 620 points to trade at 22320 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 2.61% or 560 points to end at 20860 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 0.16% or 0.2 points to 128.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 77 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.51% or 1.28 to $86.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.43% or 1.25 to hit $88.76 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.55% or 28.15 to trade at $1840.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 6.5559, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4426.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 95.510.
