Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.94%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which rose 2.39% or 5.0 points to trade at 214.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 1.81% or 1.7 points to end at 93.5 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was up 1.50% or 3.3 points to 223.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 0.35% or 2.20 points to trade at 626.40 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 111.1 and William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was up 0.09% or 0.1 points to 167.7.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 47 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.67% or 0.88 to $53.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.28% or 0.75 to hit $59.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.60% or 9.05 to trade at $1503.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.02% to 6.8023, while EUR/DKK rose 0.06% to 7.4691.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 98.588.
