Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.94%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CSE:DSV), which rose 4.41% or 27.2 points to trade at 644.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 3.57% or 3.4 points to end at 99.7 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 1.61% or 8.6 points to 543.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS), which fell 1.23% or 3.1 points to trade at 248.6 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) declined 0.58% or 1.2 points to end at 204.7 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 0.52% or 1.6 points to 307.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 53 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.23% or 3.1 to 248.6. Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) fell to 5-year lows; losing 0.58% or 1.2 to 204.7.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.59% or 0.32 to $54.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.47% or 0.28 to hit $59.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 6.15 to trade at $1482.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.00% to 6.6622, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4643.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 97.377.
