Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.92% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 5.94% or 27.4 points to trade at 489.0 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 3.02% or 6.50 points to end at 221.50 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 2.37% or 10.50 points to 452.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 5.10% or 18.7 points to trade at 348.1 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 2.45% or 9.1 points to end at 361.8 and Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) was down 1.84% or 2.7 points to 144.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 64 to 60 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) rose to all time highs; up 2.37% or 10.50 to 452.90.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.56% or 0.96 to $60.71 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.75% or 1.26 to hit $70.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 2.20 to trade at $1224.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.19% to 6.5408, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4587.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 96.20.
