Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.91%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 2.13% or 4.2 points to trade at 201.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) added 1.84% or 3.4 points to end at 188.0 and Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) was up 1.82% or 12.5 points to 700.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 0.30% or 1.80 points to trade at 608.20 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 0.28% or 0.9 points to end at 318.1 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was down 0.08% or 0.4 points to 505.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 49 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) rose to 5-year highs; up 1.82% or 12.5 to 700.0. Shares in Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) fell to 52-week lows; losing 0.08% or 0.4 to 505.6.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.38% or 0.81 to $57.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.00% or 0.64 to hit $63.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $1463.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.28% to 6.7760, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4727.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 98.155.
