Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.90%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 2.34% or 22.9 points to trade at 1002.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) added 1.92% or 7.4 points to end at 392.4 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 1.63% or 6.30 points to 392.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 0.30% or 1.3 points to trade at 438.5 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 0.05% or 0.4 points to end at 751.2 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 0.21% or 0.6 points to 290.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 48 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) fell to 3-years lows; down 0.30% or 1.3 to 438.5.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.14% or 0.10 to $73.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.01% or 0.01 to hit $77.29 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.08% or 13.40 to trade at $1255.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.05% to 6.3988, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4514.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 94.44.
