Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.90%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 3.00% or 33.0 points to trade at 1132.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) added 2.26% or 17.0 points to end at 770.0 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.81% or 1.32 points to 74.28 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which fell 0.96% or 3.9 points to trade at 402.1 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.89% or 5.2 points to end at 577.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 0.55% or 60 points to 10840.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 52 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.87% or 0.57 to $66.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.11% or 0.08 to hit $70.50 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.81% or 11.10 to trade at $1351.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.22% to 5.9916, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4443.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 88.85.
