Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.89%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 5.58% or 585.00 points to trade at 11,065.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 5.34% or 550.00 points to end at 10,850.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 2.34% or 3.80 points to 166.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 4.32% or 37.20 points to trade at 824.40 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 1.04% or 1.30 points to end at 123.90 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) was down 0.67% or 6.00 points to 883.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 63 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.66% or 1.28 to $75.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.49% or 1.20 to hit $79.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 7.70 to trade at $2,420.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.34% to 6.90, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 104.34.
