Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Consumer Goods and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.85%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa), which rose 6.21% or 1,300.00 points to trade at 22,220.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 6.21% or 1,340.00 points to end at 22,920.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 3.58% or 20.40 points to 591.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 4.76% or 10.20 points to trade at 204.00 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 3.07% or 3.12 points to end at 98.60 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 2.68% or 23.60 points to 856.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 67 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.07% or 3.12 to 98.60.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 6.51% or 7.12 to $102.21 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 6.39% or 7.20 to hit $105.47 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.22% or 24.30 to trade at $1,960.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.71% to 6.77, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 98.71.
