Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.84% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 11.30% or 147.0 points to trade at 1448.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 3.17% or 20.0 points to end at 650.0 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 2.79% or 14.5 points to 534.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which fell 2.20% or 280 points to trade at 12430 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.18% or 290 points to end at 13030 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 0.18% or 1.0 points to 566.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 54 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.79% or 14.5 to 534.0.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.58% or 1.25 to $47.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.65% or 0.87 to hit $51.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.12 to trade at $1292.58 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.02% to 6.3006, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4378.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 93.18.
