Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.84%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb), which rose 2.84% or 11.60 points to trade at 419.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 1.58% or 2.05 points to end at 132.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 1.39% or 11.20 points to 818.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which fell 3.35% or 19.00 points to trade at 548.50 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 3.24% or 6.90 points to end at 205.90 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was down 2.65% or 3.60 points to 132.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.30% or 0.22 to $73.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.22% or 0.17 to hit $77.35 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.05% or 24.65 to trade at $2,372.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.86, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 104.32.
