Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Real Estate, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.83%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which rose 5.25% or 10.9 points to trade at 218.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) added 3.61% or 8.5 points to end at 244.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 2.59% or 9.1 points to 358.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 2.88% or 5.4 points to trade at 182.4 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 2.23% or 12.6 points to end at 551.6 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 2.06% or 5.9 points to 280.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 52 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.34% or 0.78 to $58.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.02% or 0.66 to hit $65.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 3.75 to trade at $1509.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.33% to 6.7843, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4674.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 98.213.
