Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.83% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 6.28% or 65.0 points to trade at 1100.0 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 2.00% or 4.1 points to end at 209.3 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 1.82% or 9.0 points to 504.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which fell 0.73% or 0.56 points to trade at 76.28 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.68% or 4.6 points to end at 671.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 0.48% or 1.7 points to 354.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 63 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.97% or 0.60 to $61.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.60% or 0.41 to hit $67.66 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1321.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.22% to 6.1831, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4468.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 91.69.
