Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Chemicals and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.82%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which rose 9.80% or 60 points to trade at 677 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 6.22% or 25.5 points to end at 435.6 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 4.99% or 464 points to 9768 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 1.67% or 6.8 points to trade at 399.3 at the close. Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) declined 0.98% or 7.5 points to end at 755.5 and William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 0.34% or 0.7 points to 189.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 52 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) rose to all time highs; up 6.22% or 25.5 to 435.6.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.32% or 0.14 to $42.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.33% or 0.15 to hit $45.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.32% or 46.80 to trade at $1966.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.45% to 6.2684, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4458.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.49% at 92.713.
