Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.81%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which rose 5.55% or 11.60 points to trade at 220.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) added 2.65% or 8.2 points to end at 317.6 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 2.38% or 6.7 points to 288.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 4.58% or 13.3 points to trade at 277.0 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) declined 1.32% or 9.6 points to end at 716.6 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was down 0.84% or 0.9 points to 112.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 52 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) fell to 5-year lows; losing 0.84% or 0.9 to 112.1.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.93% or 0.57 to $61.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.63% or 0.44 to hit $70.32 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 4.35 to trade at $1281.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.05% to 6.6737, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4665.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 97.405.
