Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.80%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 3.17% or 8.9 points to trade at 289.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 1.95% or 26.0 points to end at 1359.0 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 1.16% or 3.3 points to 286.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 2.46% or 9.2 points to trade at 365.4 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 1.21% or 0.46 points to end at 37.58 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 1.20% or 150 points to 12370.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 38 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.16% or 0.08 to $48.51 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.15% or 0.08 to hit $51.82 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 2.62 to trade at $1292.72 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.35% to 6.2959, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4366.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 93.03.
