Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.79%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 3.67% or 22.4 points to trade at 633.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 2.41% or 10.2 points to end at 431.7 and William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was up 1.34% or 2.9 points to 219.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 1.76% or 3.6 points to trade at 200.7 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 1.59% or 38.0 points to end at 2357.0 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was down 0.85% or 5.2 points to 609.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 66 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.39% or 0.18 to $45.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.18% or 0.09 to hit $48.75 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.34% or 25.10 to trade at $1849.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.07% to 6.1536, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4428.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 90.942.
