Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Industrials and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.79%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which rose 3.35% or 7.5 points to trade at 231.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 3.31% or 44.5 points to end at 1390.5 and FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) was up 2.60% or 5.9 points to 232.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 1.67% or 4.6 points to trade at 271.1 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 0.55% or 5.5 points to end at 996.0 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was down 0.25% or 1 points to 558.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 35 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.26% or 0.14 to $53.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $59.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.86% or 12.85 to trade at $1484.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.7806, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4704.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 98.148.
