Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.78%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which rose 3.47% or 106.00 points to trade at 3,158.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) added 3.12% or 26.50 points to end at 876.00 and NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) was up 2.30% or 14.50 points to 645.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 3.70% or 43.00 points to trade at 1,119.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 1.12% or 125.00 points to end at 11,055.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 1.09% or 1.70 points to 153.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 65 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.47% or 106.00 to 3,158.00.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.91% or 0.65 to $70.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.59% or 0.44 to hit $74.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 4.60 to trade at $2,681.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.21% to 6.68, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 100.44.
