Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 3.20% or 235 points to trade at 7575 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 2.74% or 210 points to end at 7880 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 2.39% or 9.2 points to 394.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 0.79% or 3.5 points to trade at 440.4 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.24% or 1.0 points to end at 417.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was down 0.23% or 1.8 points to 777.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 40 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) fell to 3-years lows; down 0.24% or 1.0 to 417.0.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.49% or 0.36 to $73.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.05% or 0.81 to hit $77.92 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 5.00 to trade at $1260.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.02% to 6.3459, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4535.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 93.84.
