Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.75%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 2.72% or 17.00 points to trade at 641.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 2.24% or 3.20 points to end at 145.80 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 1.98% or 12.00 points to 618.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 1.59% or 1.70 points to trade at 105.50 at the close. Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) declined 1.52% or 9.20 points to end at 595.00 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was down 0.22% or 0.35 points to 159.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 94 to 56 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.52% or 1.17 to $75.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.29% or 1.04 to hit $79.29 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 8.95 to trade at $1,990.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.44% to 6.80, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.50% at 101.91.
