Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Technology and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.75% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 2.07% or 4.8 points to trade at 236.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 1.98% or 8.0 points to end at 412.9 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 1.91% or 20.5 points to 1094.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which fell 1.56% or 3.1 points to trade at 196.1 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 1.16% or 11.0 points to end at 935.2 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 1.03% or 1.1 points to 100.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 52 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.98% or 8.0 to 412.9.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.22% or 0.09 to $40.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.39% or 0.17 to hit $43.20 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.58% or 10.40 to trade at $1810.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.40% to 6.5137, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4470.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 95.948.
