Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Financials and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.74%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 3.82% or 8.20 points to trade at 222.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 3.80% or 12.40 points to end at 339.00 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was up 3.14% or 17.00 points to 558.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 2.48% or 47.00 points to trade at 1,847.00 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) declined 0.35% or 1.50 points to end at 422.30 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was down 0.29% or 2.80 points to 956.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 91 to 44 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) fell to 3-years lows; losing 2.48% or 47.00 to 1,847.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.13% or 0.10 to $78.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.23% or 0.19 to hit $82.11 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.88% or 20.45 to trade at $2,347.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.96% to 6.88, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.22% at 103.92.
