Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.73%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which rose 1.91% or 5.40 points to trade at 288.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 1.77% or 7.60 points to end at 437.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 1.44% or 9.00 points to 634.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV), which fell 1.93% or 25.00 points to trade at 1,271.00 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 1.60% or 1.90 points to end at 116.50 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 1.06% or 1.48 points to 137.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 94 to 54 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) fell to 5-year lows; falling 1.60% or 1.90 to 116.50.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 3.74% or 3.34 to $85.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 3.63% or 3.30 to hit $87.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 1.95 to trade at $1,839.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.45% to 7.09, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 106.46.
