Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Chemicals and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.73% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 2.63% or 17.8 points to trade at 695.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 2.60% or 7.6 points to end at 300.3 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 2.30% or 202 points to 8970 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which fell 5.63% or 7.5 points to trade at 126.7 at the close. Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) declined 2.02% or 10.60 points to end at 513.20 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 0.18% or 1.0 points to 567.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 62 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.63% or 17.8 to 695.0.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.02% or 0.01 to $59.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.28% or 0.19 to hit $67.73 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 5.10 to trade at $1306.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.13% to 6.5727, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4630.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 95.825.
