Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 2.21% or 12.0 points to trade at 555.5 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 1.94% or 4.70 points to end at 246.70 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 1.84% or 10.0 points to 552.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 1.24% or 4.5 points to trade at 357.7 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.31% or 2.0 points to end at 633.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was down 0.07% or 0.5 points to 711.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 53 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.56% or 0.28 to $50.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.50% or 0.28 to hit $55.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.07% or 14.14 to trade at $1311.06 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.13% to 6.2372, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4413.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 91.89.
